Book: Ganong: A Sweet History of Chocolate

Ganong: A Sweet History of Chocolate by David Folster

I acquired this book from Mini Book Expo for Bloggers.  First about the site.  It is a great site for those who love to read and blog.  All you do is claim a book (so long as it is available) and you will be emailed for your information and then a book on your doorstep.

I selected this book because I love Chocolate.  I would love for Health Canada to make it a part of the major food groups.  Seriously, it is a legit request.  This book is filled with the history of the Ganong family/business.  It is not one big advertisement, like many other books about companies.  The book is jam packed with colour pictures, posters and notes from the company and their chocolates.  I usually buy Canadian products whenever possible, and this is one of the beloved chocolate companies in my household.  After reading through this book, it is THE chocolate company in my household.

I am going to be passing this on to a fellow readers and chocolate lover.  I have registered it on bookcrossing.com and here is how you can see the books adventures: LINK
